Gwimiart/ Guinas de Bloi

   Either the same person or brothers that fought beside Arthur in the battle of the eleven kings. The king of the hundred knights smote down Gwimiart and Guinas is listed later amongst the fighters that attacked the eleven kings when they were drawn up beyond the little river. I have often found Malory to be loose with the spelling of names including his own and it is unclear whether he changes spellings because he is unsure of the status of an individual or through errors of trying to resolve conflicts in multiple sources- Gwimiart is struck down prior to the mention of Guinas but Gwimiart is not specifically stated as being slain.
