Carados

   One of the eleven kings that fought against Arthur. He may be the same knight as the knight that fought against Gawaine in the Quest of the Triple Goddess. Following the scene in which Pelleas allows himself to be bound and imprisoned, Carados and another knight arrive at the crossroads and challenge Gawaine. Gawaine and Carados joust and then battle on foot for some time before they accord with each other. Carados relates the circumstances of Pelleas' problems to Gawaine. Is this another incident where Malory uses a different name for a personage: i.e. Caradoc Brise Bras (Caradawc Vreichvras)?
