Brastias

Malory introduces him as a knight of Duke Gorlois and due to his position, he was probably one of Gorlois' champions and military commanders. Following Gorlois' death, Brastias becomes a prominent knight in Uther's army for we find him alongside Ulfius as hero in the battle of St. Albans and we find him as one of the early companions of Arthur who established him as warden of the lands north of the Trent.
