Beli Mawr ab Manogan
Beli, surnamed the Great (mawr), was king over Britain forty years, and was succeeded in the sovereignty
by his sons, Lludd and Caswallawn, better known as Cassivelaunus. In the Armes attributed to Taliesin, Beli is thus
addressed,-
"Greatly do I honour thee Victorious Beli, Son of Manogan the king.
Do thou preserve the glory Of the Honey Island of Beli." Myv. Arch. I. p. 73.
