Alice

   Called 'the Beautiful Pilgrim', she was the daughter of Ansirus, one of Lancelot's many cousins. She helped Alisander le Orphelin escape from the castle of Morgan le Fay. She always kept her face veiled, suggesting she was of more than mortal beauty or possibly this was a variation of the Gawain and Loathly damsel plot line. It was when she was unveiled that Alisander fell in love with her and later married.
